Waikoloa Village is located on the Big Island of Hawaii, six miles from the Kohala Coast.  Chartered on May 14, 1998, the WVOC has made quite a difference for the village. 

Our initial goal was to landscape the Waikoloa Road median strip.  After five years, hundreds of volunteer hours, and $70,000, we successfully turned weeds and trash into a beautiful garden, encouraging tourism and radically increasing real-estate values.  The WVOC continues to maintain the median through membership fees, fund raising projects, grants, donations, and special solicitations to property developers and realtors.
